• New England Writing Arm Windsor attributed to John C. Hubbard,
  Boston, Ca 1830-40.
  

• Wide tablet crest with fruit and foliage decoration above spindles and a plank seat.  One arm down swept, the other with shaped hinged writing paddle above a drawer. 
  

• Swelled legs with ringed cuffs, joined by tuned stretchers, all with mustard outlines. 
  

• Maple with poplar secondary. Minor repairs and some refreshed paint to desk (to underside of writing surface which may or may not be displayed.
  

• Provenance: Wayne Pratt, Inc. and the Collection of Miriam and Arthur Spector.
